Leslie was employed by Cobb County Gymnastics as a part-time instructor and has taught there for 6 years. Leslie spent eleven years in the United States Air Force where she achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. She was an Inventory Management Specialist with the supply unit in both Georgia and Illinois and was honorably discharged in 1996. Leslie dedicated her time from 1996 to 2004 to the raising and education of Whitney and Collin. Leslie continues to home school as well as manage Code 7 Police Supplies.

Mike has been an police officer for 20 years and is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Unit. Mike holds specialized certificates, including POST Certified Instructor, Standardized Field Sobriety Instructor and all high liability instructor certificates i.e., Firearms, Defensive Tactics and Emergency Vehicle Operations Course. He has earned both Intermediate and Advanced certifications in the state of Georgia.

Mike has held assignments with the Motor and STEP Unit, the DUI Task Force and a Regional Training Unit. The remainder of the time with the department, he has been assigned to the uniform patrol unit. Mike's entire career has been spent with one agency.

Mike and Leslie first met in the Air Force and were married in September 1989. They have two wonderful children, Whitney and Collin. Mike and Leslie are an active family in their church.
